Introduction
I am Engr. Amir D. Duruin from Cotabato City, 39 years old, and a Computer Engineering graduate from Notre Dame University, class of 2006. After completing my degree, I began my career as a computer operator in a government institution. Seeking broader opportunities, I moved to Doha, Qatar, where I worked as an IT Engineer in the Planning and Control Department at Consolidated Contractors Company. It was during this time that I was introduced to the role of a Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) Officer, which sparked my interest and led me to pursue HSE training in 2008.

Background
Following my training, I worked as a Safety Officer in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Oger Ltd for nearly three years, gaining valuable experience in safety management. In 2019, I returned to the Philippines to pursue entrepreneurial ventures and became involved in the construction sector as a Construction Safety Engineer at KCC Mall in Cotabato City, contributing to the project's safety and regulatory compliance.
