Background
She was a legal professional with litigation experience, having graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from IIUM Gombak Campus. After leaving legal practice, she owned a bakery and subsequently began a training career in both private and public sectors. Her academic qualifications include a BSc in Culinary Arts Management and a Master's in Gastronomy from UiTM Shah Alam. Upon completing her PhD in Hospitality Management at Iowa State University, United States, she joined UPM as a senior lecturer, a position she holds to this day. She holds a number of professional certificates including export management and food safety management.
