He has handled various aspects of strategic planning, business transformation, compensation and benefits, performance management, talent development, employee retention as well as employee recruitment and separation exercises, in both the corporate and government sector. Siva was previously the Head of HR for one of the largest conglomerates in Malaysia, the Hong Leong Group. The Group currently employs more than 45,000 employees and is involved in a diverse range of businesses from financial services, manufacturing, property, leisure and strategic investments. Prior to joining the Hong Leong Group, Siva served as the Regional Business Director for Greater China and Head of HR of MCSB Systems (M) Berhad, and a Senior Consultant of Deloitte. He started his career in the Royal Malaysian Navy and was actively involved in the Navy’s HR Transformation initiatives.
